1. Introduction
InEdge AI Platform Private Limited (“Guidal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use the Guidal Cloud platform and our website at www.guidal.ai (collectively, the “Service”).
This policy is designed to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India and other applicable data protection regulations.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and authentication credentials (or OAuth tokens, if you sign in with a third-party provider).
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including API calls, deployment logs, resource usage metrics, and feature interactions. This data is used to operate and improve the Service.
Payment Information: If you use a paid plan, payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.
Technical Data: We collect IP addresses, browser type, device information, and referring URLs for security, analytics, and troubleshooting purposes.
Early-access requests: When you ask for early access, we collect your email address and, if you provide them, your name, company and a description of what you are building. We also record the page you came from, your browser user agent, your country and a keyed one-way hash of your network address, used only to limit repeated submissions. We use this only to send your invite and reply to you. We keep it until the early-access programme ends or you ask us to delete it; write to support@guidal.ai.
Your Application Data: Data you deploy, store, or process on the Service (“Customer Data”) is stored on our infrastructure. We do not access Customer Data except as necessary to provide the Service, troubleshoot issues at your request, or comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and send billing notifications
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and security alerts
- Monitor and enforce our Terms of Service and acceptable use policies
- Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents
- Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve our platform
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use Customer Data for advertising or profiling purposes.
4. Data Residency and Storage
Customer Data and account information are stored on dedicated infrastructure we operate in the European Union — except where a third party necessarily processes it, as described under Payment Information and Third-Party Vendors below. If you are in India, this means your personal data is processed outside the country, and we handle it in accordance with the DPDPA, 2023. We do not currently offer India-region hosting. We will give notice before changing where data is stored.
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Backups, object storage, platform secrets and billing details are encrypted at rest.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., payment processing, email delivery, analytics), subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Guidal, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent for purposes not covered by this policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information and Customer Data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or financial records).
Usage logs and anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months for platform improvement purposes.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, including the DPDPA, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis
- Grievance Redressal: File a grievance with our Data Protection Officer
