Plans, billing and limits
What each plan includes, how limits are enforced, and how to manage your subscription.
Guidal is in private beta. Design partners use it free of charge, and billing is not switched on yet. The plans below are planned, not yet charged: they show what each plan is intended to include once paid plans open.
Paid plans
All prices are in US dollars per month. Payments will be processed by Paddle, our merchant of record; local taxes are calculated and collected at checkout.
| Hobby | Starter | Pro | Team | |

| Web services | 2 | 3 | 10 | 25 |
| Background workers | 0 | 1 | 5 | 25 |
| Postgres databases | 1 | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Redis instances | 0 | 1 | 3 | 10 |

| Storage | 5 GB | 20 GB | 50 GB | 200 GB |
| Custom domains | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |

The compute figure is per project: the total your services and databases in one project can use together. The other limits apply to your organization.
How limits are enforced
Limits are checked when you act, not overnight. Creating a fourth web service on a plan that allows three is refused at that moment with an error saying which limit you hit — nothing is silently queued or throttled.
Capability restrictions behave the same way. Creating a resource your plan does not include fails with a message naming the plan requirement, rather than creating something that never runs.
Storage is the exception in one respect: it is a budget consumed over time, so you are warned as you approach the limit and refused only when a write would exceed it.

These commands are read-only, in the CLI and through MCP alike.
Change plan
Plan changes open after the design-partner programme. Until then there is nothing to change: partners keep the programme allowance.
Being over a limit
If usage exceeds your plan, the account moves into a restricted state. Existing services keep running; creating new resources is blocked until usage is back within limits. You are notified, with time to act, rather than having workloads terminated.
